About Nicole...
Nicole Kovacs is an actor, multi-award-winning director, writer, photographer and producer. Yeah, we know, that sounds like a lot, but they all kind of tie in-- she's a storyteller. Don't let her sweet, earthy, girl-next-door disposition fool you; Nicole is a strong-willed leader who can command a set from both in front of and behind a camera with beautiful honesty.
Nicole took to the stage at a very young age and continued to perform in theatre throughout her formative years. It wasn't until Nicole moved to Atlanta, Georgia that she truly began pursuing her film acting career, signing with the Jana VanDyke Agency in 2011. Since then, she has starred in Investigation Discovery's Swamp Murders and appeared in several films, most recently, Nightbird and Magpie.
Though Nicole always had a knack for writing, she never considered incorporating it into her career until the spring of 2013. One weekend, she sat down to write her first screenplay, titling it Friends Like Mine. That little story was quickly brought to life when she directed it a few months later and went on to win several awards including multiple prizes for Best Director and Best Short Film.
The success of Friends Like Mine launched Nicole's career in writing, directing and producing, while she continues to pursue acting. In 2016, she branched out alongside actor/producer Dominick Racano to open her own production company, Wild Palette Pictures. The two have recently completed two more short films, Inside and Model Citizen, which premiered in the winter of 2016.
