About Nicole...

You know those movies where there's a girl dancing barefoot in a field with a wreath of daisies around her head?  She's not just a character.  Meet Nicole Kovacs.  If you try to describe Nicole, you might find yourself using words like "free-spirited", "sweet", "girl-next-door", "passionate", "strong-willed" and, well, let's admit it, "goofy".  But those are just a few.  Get to know this young actress, and you'll see there's so much more than meets the eye.

A deep love for acting, as well as photography and filmmaking, makes Nicole a well-rounded performer.  She got bitten by the acting bug at a very early age, to which she blames Lucille Ball.  With various theatre directors in her schooling years believing in her abilities, her craft was cultivated on the stage, starring in plays such as “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “A Balancing Act,” and “Tall Tales: The Kentucky Cycle.”  Always looking for the next opportunity, Nicole also took workshops and participated in talent competitions at the Bucks County Playhouse in Pennsylvania and in New York City's International Model & Talent Association Competition.

Now, living in Atlanta, Nicole's interest has shifted from stage to screen.  Not to be misunderstood, her acting roots are still planted deep in her, but the intimacy of film seems just... right.  Recently, Nicole starred in an episode of DiscoveryID's television series, "Swamp Murders" (release scheduled for June 2013) and played Jean Grey in the thriving fan series, "Uncanny X-Men".  Stay tuned for her upcoming films, including the highly anticipated SAG feature, "Mouthpiece", and the quirky independent film, "I Wonder What Kaitlin Beard is Thinking", in which she plays the title role.

Nicole doesn't just stop at acting, though.  She has made a name for herself behind the camera as well, shooting headshots for many of Atlanta's actors and becoming a trusted name in wedding photography.  Ms. Kovacs has also been the creative eye behind the lens for two music videos and a popular international web series, and has at least two productions scheduled in 2013, in which she will be working as director and cinematographer.

With so many new projects on the horizon and such a determined heart, Nicole Kovacs is bound to be a success.  Check back regularly for updates and always feel free to contact her!

"You blew me away with your performance, your willingness to do what it takes and your professionalism. It was all these attributes that made my job as director much easier and more pleasurable, and will give the show more authenticity.
Just want you to know the great impression you made! I look forward to working with you again sometime soon and will always keep you at the top of our list for roles in your age range."
     - Scott Thigpen, director, DiscoveryID's "Swamp Murders"

"In walked Nicole Kovacs. A sigh of relief to a long and arduous effort to find the only person who could play her roles in the play. With talent abundant, Nicole captures a line and makes the audible visible. With an incredible ability to memorize extremely long and complex lines with remarkable speed, Nicole masters her craft with zeal and humility. Nicole's vibrant youth and her distinct maturity establish her as lasting talent."
